Article Share: "Gates looks at black experience throughout Latin America"
This is a documentary I think everyone should check out. Not only is Henry Louis Gates a great scholar but this is an issue that has a lot of resonnance. The diaspora is often pitted against one another (due to the affects of racism and colonialism in general) but Gates’ documentary and this other kool documentary called ”AfroLations” really do a good job at showing how interconnected we all are. Gates’ “Black in Latin America” will be shown for quite some time so you may have a lot of chances to get your views in. If you find the link, let a Brotha know!
